Reopening a Gateway to the Rock

Blending panoramic views with deep historical insight, this project will turn a familiar stop into a meaningful starting point for exploring Gibraltar’s heritage.

As part of our redevelopment, we will reopen key sections of the battery and reveal its strategic role through fresh interpretation and storytelling. A new visitor centre will also be established on site, offering guests an introduction to the Upper Rock’s history, landmarks, and military significance.
