An immersive experience in St Michael’s Cave.

Drawing on Wright Tech’s extensive local marketing expertise and understanding of international visitor expectations, we had the opportunity to create a truly world-class experience at one of Gibraltar’s most iconic sites — St Michael’s Cave.

In collaboration with leading light and sound specialists Pixel Artworks, we developed ‘The Awakening’, a projection-mapped artistic experience that explores the geological forces and natural science behind the formation of the cave and the Rock of Gibraltar itself.

Beyond immersive lighting, soundscapes, and projection zones, we also introduced new interpretation, refreshed marketing, and a full rebrand to deliver a cohesive, captivating experience that resonates with a global audience.

The result was an immediate success, with visitor numbers soaring by 40% and the cave’s reputation elevated to new international acclaim.
